Project presented to University of Navarra’s Governing Board
Our project has been presented to the governing board of the University of Navarra in Spain. The presentation has been written up both in Spanish and English for the University’s website.
The English version of the story says:
Among other conclusions from the literature review carried out by the Preventive Medicine Unit at the Clínica, it appears that “the children that are cared for by other members of the family have a advantage in terms of remaining in one place, and in their well-being, over the children in other types of care”. Likewise, it is “especially recommended that abused children are cared for by members of the family”. Similarly, the results suggest that“children that live in care centres develop more mental health problems than those cared for by family members”.
