Second edition of the Kinship Care Guide for Scotland
Mentor are proud to announce the publication of the second edition of our well received guide for kinship carers in Scotland.
Packed full of practical information that every kinship carer should have at their fingertips the guide has been developed with the active help of kinship carers themselves.
In each section we provide:
- A step by step process of the support carers should receive from their Local Authority;
- Information on legal rights;
- Information on benefits carers may receive; and
- Case studies.
Mentor thanks all the members of our advisory and focus groups and in particular to Children 1st, Citizens Advice Scotland, Scottish Government, ClanLaw, Circle, Child Poverty Action Group and Anne Black for all their support, advice and guidance.
This edition of the guide has been made possible as a result of the financial assistance of the Scottish Government.
